Отзывы пассажиров об авиакомпании Болгария Эйр (Bulgaria Air) 2022

This is the oldest citizenship by investment program that since mid-1980s has been attracting foreign investors, businessmen and entrepreneurs from around the world and offering them passport in return for their investment.
Why shall I get St Kitts and Nevis citizenship?
Our citizenship experts have come up with 7 key benefits of investing in a passport of this country.
Fast processing time
If you compare it with other citizenship by investment programs, here you can get a passport in 45-60 days with accelerated procedure.
No requirement to live in the country
In order to become St Kitts and Nevis citizen, you don’t need to live or visit the islands. However, it is worth coming to this tropical paradise with its warm climate, fantastic beaches and turquoise ocean.
Full confidentiality
This small island state is very strict with not passing any information about their nationals and their assets to third parties. Your participation in the St Kitts and Nevis investment program will also remain a secret.
Passport for the whole family
Apply for citizenship for the whole family including adult children and parents.
Travelling without visas
You would not need a visa to 156 countries including Schengen states, UK and Singapore. Holders of St Kitts and Nevis passport can get long-term visas to the USA and Canada.
Tax benefits
One of the most favourable taxation systems in the world. There is no income tax, inheritance or gift taxes, no dividends or capital gains tax. Property taxes are very low too.
Business opportunities
Tourism sector in this country is very developed which creates limitless opportunities for international companies registered here.
Islands of St Kitts and Nevis become more a more popular with tourists. The government is very wise in how they use foreign money by investing in local infrastructure. Besides, it is a modern place to live and can serve as a safe haven for you and your family if things in your country are not looking bright.
What are the requirements for an investor?
Though the government is very keen on attracting foreign investments in the economy, they are careful as to who is investing. There are certain criteria that you must be able to meet:
- Be older than 18 years old.
- Have clean criminal and immigration record.
- Pass due diligence. It must be paid for and passed by the main applicant and every family member over 16 years of age.
- Be of good health.
St Kitts and Nevis government is extra cautious towards investors that want to invest money of unclear origin as well as those who are under international sanctions. Moreover, the Citizenship by Investment Unit will not accept citizenship applications from nationals of Iran, Syria and Afghanistan.
How to invest in St Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment
You have two options of getting a passport through investment – one non-refundable and the other is refundable in 5–7 years.
Non-refundable contribution to Sustainable Growth Fund
If you wish to obtain citizenship by investing in a development fund, you must pay $150,000 for a single applicant with the amount increasing proportionally to the size of your family. For example, a family of four will cost you $195,000 in a one-off payment.
Sustainable Growth Fund of St Kitts and Nevis distributes the money between tourism sector, agriculture, transport infrastructure, social projects, healthcare and cultural restoration works.
Purchase of real estate
Investment in a property starts at $200,000 and the money can be returned in a few years after obtaining St Kitts and Nevis passport. Please be aware of one important condition – you must invest only in the projects and developments that are approved by the government. On the one hand, it is a limitation imposed by the state on foreign investors, but, on the other hand, it is a guarantee; all developers and sites are subject to thorough checks before being approved by authorities.
Unlike non-refundable fund contribution, real estate investment amount does depend on the size of the family that is applying together with the main applicant. But the amount decides when you can get your money back. Say, you buy a share in an off-plan development for $200,000 – you can resell it only in 7 years after getting a passport. If you invest $400,000, you can get it back faster – in 5 years.
Additional payments
Irrespective of investment, applicants for St Kitts and Nevis citizenship who are over 16 must pay a due diligence fee. Real estate investors pay government fees on top of the purchase price which vary for the main applicant and dependants.

FAQ about St . Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment program
Why should I invest in Saint Kitts & Nevis?
To start with, the government of this island country launched the first ever citizenship by investment program in the world. In the 40 years of its operation, it has been polished and refined to perfection. By investing in Saint Kitts economy, a diligent investor can be 100% sure that they will get a second passport.
All other benefits of St. Kitts passport are linked to the above:
- Opportunities comparable to European passport programs but at a lower cost.
- Reasonable level of requirements.
- Fast-track application process when you get your passport in 60 days.
- You can include your family in a St. Kitts citizenship application including a spouse, children, parents and even siblings.
- Investment in real-estate is completely safe as you will be buying only government approved properties from reliable developers.
- The whole process is done through an agent, so you can get a second passport without leaving home.
When can I get my money back if I invest in real estate?
St. Kitts legislation says that the amount you invest will determine when you can sell it and recover your investment.
If you buy a property for $400,000 and more, you must own it for at least 5 years.
If your investment is from $200K to $400K, you will be able to sell only after 7 years.
As it is common to invest in off-plan schemes for hotels, holiday resorts, apartments and Spa centres, you might be able to recover some of the expenses you incurred when applying for a passport. To make sure your purchase generates income, find a reliable property management company with the help of your immigration advisers and start getting a monthly rental income.
Will the amount of real estate investment depend on the number of dependants?
No, it will not. Irrespective of whether you are applying alone or with a big family, you can still invest the required minimum of $200,000 and not a penny more.
However, processing and other fees will increase depending on family size and ages. Extra costs for a single investor amount to $42,500. Second citizenship for a family of 4 people will cost additional $86,500 in non-refundable processing and Due Diligence fees.
Why is confidentiality important?
It is normally not important to those who live in a country that allows multiple citizenship. Even then you will most probably be required to register your second passport with authorities and some of your rights might be limited.
Saint Kitts and Nevis government guarantees full confidentiality to all applicants. It is important if your country does not allow dual nationality – whether this restriction is only on paper and there is no penalty or liability, or you will be persecuted for the offence and potentially deported and stripped of your first nationality.
Experts at Imperial & Legal would strongly advise against breaching laws of your country even if they sound absurd. Every investor takes a risk by applying under one of the Caribbean passport schemes and all they can rely on is confidentiality guarantee.
What is the visa-free value of a Saint Kitts passport?
This small Caribbean country ranks 25 th in the Passport Index, an informal rating of countries based on how many states are open to their citizens without a visa.
Saint Kitts and Nevis government has signed visa waiver agreements with 156 countries for visa-free or visa-on-arrival regime.
The list includes all EU states, Switzerland, Norway, the UK and Singapore. Holders of a Saint Kitts passport can also apply for a 10-year business visa to the USA.
St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment
Several countries, including St. Kitts and Nevis, have adopted programs that allow the acquisition of citizenship on the basis of an investment and/or a direct contribution to the state as a means of developing the country.
Background and legal considerations
The citizenship program of St. Kitts was established in 1984 and requires applicants to make an economic contribution to the country. In exchange, they and their families are granted full citizenship.
The legal basis regarding citizenship by investment is contained in Part II, § 3 (5) of the Citizenship Act, 1984 and the Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Regulations, 2011. These provisions allow the government to operate a program under which citizenship is granted to persons who qualify under criteria set by cabinet decision.
Benefits of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program
When you acquire citizenship under the St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship program, you and your family enjoy full citizenship for life, which can be passed on to future generations by descent.
- A St. Kitts and Nevis passport allows visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to 157 destinations including Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, the UK, and Europe’s Schengen Area.
- Citizenship-by-descent is available to future generations.
- Applicants are able to include a spouse, children under 31, parents, grandparents aged 55 and over, and unmarried dependent siblings under 31 with no children, as well as to add dependents after they have been granted citizenship.
- St. Kitts and Nevis is a member of the Commonwealth, which entitles citizens to certain privileges in the UK and other Commonwealth countries.
- St. Kitts and Nevis is an attractive location for owning a second home, with good air links to Europe and North America.
- Dual citizenship is allowed by the nation.
- There is no minimum stay required.
St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment requirements
The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program requires applicants to make a significant economic contribution to the country. In exchange, and subject to a stringent application procedure including thorough background checks, the applicants and their families are granted full citizenship.
To qualify for citizenship, the main applicant must be over 18 years of age, meet the application requirements, and select one of the two following options:
- A non-refundable contribution of USD 150,000 to the Sustainable Growth Fund for a single applicant. An additional USD 25,000 applies for a spouse, USD 20,000 for each sibling, and USD 10,000 for each qualifying dependent (other than a spouse or sibling)
- The purchase of real estate with a minimum value of USD 200,000 (resalable after seven years) or USD 400,000 (resalable after five years) from an approved real estate development.
Procedures and time frame of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program
The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) is responsible for the processing of all applications. There is also an accelerated application process available with a 45- to 60-day processing time frame. The CIU examines the application thoroughly and may request that the applicant attend an interview, although this is rarely necessary. The CIU undertakes strict due diligence checks and will decline an application if the applicant makes a false statement or omits any relevant information. The applicant must personally complete the prescribed government forms, which are only available from an authorized service provider. The documentary requirements of the program are reasonable and the procedures straightforward. Most applicants will normally visit the islands before deciding on the purchase of real estate, but it is not a prerequisite for the application process, which usually takes between three to four months from submission of the application to the CIU for approval. Under the real estate option, the time frame may vary depending on the development, so it is important to choose a real estate project that complements the citizenship application efficiently.
Upon approval-in-principle of the application, the funds for the real estate, SGF contribution, government fees, and other fees will be released to the various parties. Thereafter, the prime minister will sign the certificate of registration, which confers citizenship status. Once the certificate of registration is issued, the applicant is entitled to apply for a passport.
Fees and costs
Henley & Partners charges different fees depending on the case and the number of persons included in an application and depending on whether the real estate or SGF option is chosen. The full agreed fee (less any retainer paid initially) is paid into an escrow account in advance and is released when the application is submitted to the government.
Dual citizenship
There are no restrictions on dual citizenship in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Henley & Partners in St. Kitts and Nevis
Through its office in St. Kitts, Henley & Partners has been helping foreign nationals acquire citizenship through the citizenship by investment program for nearly 20 years. The firm has unrivalled expertise and experience in relation to this program, having been mandated by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to reform the program in 2006–2007 and to design the new contribution option at that time. The changes introduced by the government in 2007, with the professional assistance of Henley & Partners, including the creation of a dedicated citizenship by investment unit, the streamlining of processes, redesign of application forms and procedures, and the international promotion of the program, have made the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program one of the most successful programs in the world.

The St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme stands as the oldest, and one of the most trusted, successful programmes of its kind. Since 1984, it has allowed individuals and their families to legally obtain citizenship of one of the Caribbean’s most idyllic locations.
Benefits of St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship
Successful applicants under the St Kitts and Nevis Programme are registered as citizens of the nation and may apply for a St Kitts and Nevis passport.
They have access to a huge range of benefits including:
Accelerated Application Process
The St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme is the only programme of its kind to offer a guaranteed fast-track route to citizenship, known as the Accelerated Application Process (AAP). Under the AAP, a successful applicant can receive citizenship in as little as 60 days from submission of an application. The AAP is available for the following additional cost, inclusive of due diligence fees:
*Note: while the Citizenship by Investment Unit and the Passport Office work in unison, obtaining citizenship and applying for a passport are two distinct processes.
Investment Options
There are four ways in which an applicant can apply for citizenship under the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme:
1. By donating to the country’s Sustainable Growth Fund
2. By investing in pre-approved real estate
3. By purchasing a private home
4. By choosing the ‘alternative investment option’
THE SUSTAINABLE GROWTH FUND
The Sustainable Growth Fund is the most direct investment path to St Kitts and Nevis citizenship. The revenue from the fund is used to support sustainable growth initiatives in the country.
PRE-APPROVED REAL ESTATE
Under this option, applicants are required to invest in government-approved real estate in St Kitts and Nevis. The following investment amounts apply:
- An independent investment in pre-approved real-estate, to be held for a minimum of 5 years: USD 400,000
- A joint investment with another main applicant, to be held for a minimum of 7 years: USD 200,000=
Additionally, the following government fees apply:
PRIVATE HOME
Until 1 November 2022, applicants can qualify for citizenship under the Programme by purchasing a private home worth USD 400,000. Two or more main applicants may also apply together provided they each contribute USD 400,000 towards the property. The property must be held for a period of five years and can never be reused in a subsequent citizenship by investment application.
Additionally, the following government fees apply:
ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT OPTION
Under this new option, an applicant can place an investment in the escrow account of an approved infrastructural project or other approved development project.
To be approved for use in an application, the project must:
- Not raise 100% of the capital for the project via citizenship by investment
- Already have raised a minimum of 30% of the capital for the project
- Be approved by the St Kitts Investment Promotion Agency and Cabinet
The cost of the investment will vary according to whether the project is, eventually, owned by the state (US$175,000) or by a private entity (US$200,000).
If eventually owned by the state, government fees apply as follows:
Main applicant | USD 35,000 |
Spouse | USD 20,000 |
Sibling | USD 40,000 |
Per each additional dependant (other than the spouse or a sibling) | USD 10,000 |
If eventually owned by a private entity, government fees apply as follows:
Family of up to four | USD 50,000 |
Sibling | USD 40,000 |
Per each additional dependant other than spouse (to be included in the family of four) or a sibling | USD 10,000 |
St Kitts and Nevis Passport
Once an individual’s application for citizenship by investment is approved, an economic citizen can apply for a passport at the Passport Office.
What are the Benefits of a St Kitts and Nevis Passport?
St Kitts and Nevis passports are CARICOM passports that are issued to citizens of St Kitts and Nevis for international travel. They are biometric documents, ensuring a greater level of safety and facilitating cross-border procedures. Holders of St Kitts and Nevis passports enjoy access to about 150 countries and territories worldwide.
Ordinary St Kitts and Nevis passports are valid for 10 years if issued to a person aged 16 or over and are valid for five years for children under the age of 16. They can be renewed at the Passport Office at the Government Headquarters in Basseterre (St Kitts and Nevis’ capital city) or at a St Kitts and Nevis High Commission, Embassy, or Consulate.
What is the St Kitts and Nevis Passport Application Process?
The passport application process is separate from the citizenship by investment process and requires the applicant to present a number of documents, including, but not limited to, a certified copy of the applicant’s Certificate of Registration – the document that is issued to an economic citizen at the end of the citizenship by investment process.
Every time St Kitts and Nevis passport holders re-apply for a passport (for example, because their old passport has expired), they must present their old St Kitts and Nevis passport. This will be cancelled upon issuance of the new passport.
